Dear Islamic
brothers! Those who love their parents do not cause pain to their hearts. Those
who love their children do not let them become unhappy. No one can bear to see
his friend sad because of him and nobody causes distress to the ones they love.
However unfortunately, the deeds of the majority of Muslims today who claim
to love the Blessed Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ
تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم are not those which are pleasing to the
Prophet of Allah
Listen carefully! The
Prophet of Rahmah, the Intercessor of the Ummat, the Owner of Jannah صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم has stated, جُعِلَتْ قُرَّۃُعَیْنِیْ فِی الصَّلٰوۃ
‘The coolness of my eyes is in Salah [prayer].’
(Mu’jam
Kabir, Vol. 20, p. 420, Hadis 1012)
What kind of devotees
of Rasulullah are those people who cause pain to the enlightened heart of
وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم by not caring about their prayers and by missing their prayers
intentionally? Which type of love is this and what kind of devotion is this
that the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ
but those who call themselves devotees of the Prophet avoid following this
command, therefore becoming the source of displeasure for the Holy Prophet
The Noble Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم encourages the
performance of Tarawih prayers, but heedless followers do not perform them, and if
they do, they just ritually perform them for the first few days of Ramazan
and then assume that the Tarawih prayers for the whole of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak
are done. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ
تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم has stated, ‘Trim down your
moustaches and skip your beards [i.e. allow them to grow] and do not make your
appearance like that of the Yahud [Jews],’ (Shar7 Ma’ani
Al-Ašar-lil-Sa7avi, Vol. 4, p. 28) but those followers of fashion
who claim to love the Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ
تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم make their faces look like the enemies
of the Prophet.
Is this love and
devotion of the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ
Perform Fikr-e-Madinah1! What kind of love and what kind of devotion is
this that people feel pride in looking like and acting like the enemies of the
Noble Prophet?
Sarkar
ka ‘ashiq bhi kiya Uarhi munUata hay?
Kyun ‘ishq
ka chehray say i?har nahi hota!
Can a devotee of the Prophet shave his beard?
Why is the sign of love not expressed through the face!
Dear
Islamic brothers! The Source of Peace for the Disheartened, the Final Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم would always remember
us. Even at the time of his birth, as soon as he صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم entered this world,
At that time this Du’a [Supplication] was present on his blessed lips, رَبِّ ھَبْ لِیْ اُمَّتِیْ ‘O my Lord! Hand over my Ummat to me.’
(Fatawa
Razawiyyah, Vol. 30, p. 717)
