My Heart Is Obsessed With Worldly Glamor

Dear Islamic brothers! The Leader of the Believers, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ is definitely the unparalleled devotee of the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم. His illness in the grief and love of Rasul صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم is itself a proof that he رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ is the greatest devotee. The only reason for the grief and sorrow in his heart was the remembrance of the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم. whereas our hearts have become completely obsessed with the love of this world, its temporal beauty and short-lasting influence and control. Our hearts only crave and yearn for these things, and sigh in sorrow only when our selfish inner desires are not fulfilled.
