رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ Explanation By A’la Hazrat

Explaining this respected statement of Imam Fakhruddin Razi عَلَیْہِ رَحمَۃُ اللہِ الْھَادِی A’la Hazrat, the Leader of the Ahl-us-Sunnah, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan عَلَیْہِ رَحمَۃُ الرَّحْمٰن has said, ‘To name ‘Wal-Layl’ the Surah of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq and to name ‘Wad-duha’ as the Surah of the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم indicates that the Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم is Nur [light] and guidance for Siddiq Al-Akbar and a Wasilah [means] towards Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ for him, through which the grace of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His pleasure is sought; and Siddiq رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ is the source of peace, tranquility, and contentment of the heart for the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم, as well as being the confidant of the special matters of the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم, because Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has said:

وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا ﴿١٠﴾
And we have made the night a covering.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 30, Surah Naba, Verse 10)

And Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has said:

جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿٧٣﴾
He has made for you the night and the day that you may rest in the night and you may seek His bounty in the day and for this that you may accept the truth.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 20, Surah Al-QaLaL, Verse 73)

This is an indication towards the system of Din being established on the basis of both of these personalities (the Holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہِ وَسَلَّم and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ in the same way that the system of world is established on the basis of day and night. So if there is no day, nothing will be able to be seen, while if there is no night, there will be no rest or tranquility.
