The Embodiment of Nur, the Noble Prophet ﷺ has stated: خَیْرُ کُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَ وَعَلَّمَہُ meaning: The best person amongst you is the one who learnt the Holy Quran, and taught it to others.

Sayyiduna Abu ‘Abdur Ra man Sulami رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ used to teach the Holy Quran in the Masjid and he would say, ‘This Hadiš has made me seated here.’

Allah mujhay Hafiz-e-Quran bana day
Quran kay ahkam pay bhi mujh ko chala day
O Allah! Make me a Hafiz of the Holy Quran
And make me steadfast upon the commands of the Holy Quran
