Valentine’s Day & Hadith - 03

4. Holy Rasool صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٰ وَسَلَّم stated:

لان یعطن فی رأس احدکم بمخیط من حدید خیرلہ من ان یمسّ امرأۃ لا تحلّ لہ

i.e. ‘It is better for one to have an iron needle pierced through his head than him touching a woman that is not halal for him’.

(Mu’jam Kabeer, vol. 20, pp. 211, Hadees 486)

5. Holy Rasool صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٰ وَسَلَّم stated:

ایاکم وا لخلوۃ بالنساء والذی نفسی بیدہ ما کلا رجلا رجل بامرأۃ الّا دخل الشیطان بینھما ولان یزھم رجلًا خنزیر متلطخ بطین او حماۃ ای طین اسود منتن خیر لہ من ان یزحم منکبہ امرأۃ لا تحلّ لہ

i.e. ‘Refrain from adopting seclusion with women! I swear oath by the One Who has control over my life! No one adopts seclusion with a woman, but Satan comes in between them. Moreover, it is better for him that a swine drenched in soil or smelly black mud comes in contact with him than his shoulders coming in contact with such a woman that is not Halal for him’.

Shaykh-ul-Islam, Shahab-ud-Deen Imam Ahmad Bin Hajar Makki Shaafi’i رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ states in his book ‘ الزواجر عن اقتراف الکبائر ’ The translation is ‘some placed their hand on the hand of a woman. Both their hands got stuck. People failed in separating their hands. It came to an extent where some Scholars رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ advised them to promise that they will never commit this act of disobedience again and to repent imploringly with a sincere heart in the Divine court
